Founded 1977 in Geelong as a garden supplies, Flintstones grew with the expansion of the city whilst developing strong brand recognition and a loyal customer base.
In the early 2000's Barro Group acquired the business, adding construction materials to the product range and developing a new state of the art facility in replacement of the original site. Throughout the 2020's, Flintstones expanded (merging of Barro Builders' Supplies & the opening of 3 new sites) into Melbourne, Wodonga and Bendigo markets. As Flintstones has continued to grow and expand, we have remained committed to our core values of being a family-owned and operated business - built on service and reliability.
Today we have 9 branches and a fleet of over 70 vehicles servicing Greater Geelong, Surf Coast, Melbourne’s inner & outer Suburbs, Bendigo Region and Albury/Wodonga.
